Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 August 2026
This policy describes how Davin Zardoshti, operating as Zardoshti Ventures ("we", "us"), handles personal data in connection with this website and our services. Privacy enquiries may be sent to [email protected].
1. Data We Collect
- Contact data — your name, email address, and message content when you contact us by email.
- Payment data — when you pay for services, Stripe processes the payment. We receive payment status and limited billing details, but we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Application data — when you apply for a role, your name and contact details, CV, covering note, certificates and references, and anything else you choose to include. See section 6.
- Technical data — essential hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, browser metadata, timestamps, and requested URLs to deliver and protect the website.
2. Purposes & Legal Bases
We process personal data to respond to enquiries, take steps toward and perform contracts, issue and collect invoices, meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting requirements, and operate and secure the website. Where the GDPR applies, the relevant legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) (contract and pre-contractual steps), Article 6(1)(c) (legal obligations), and Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interests in communicating with prospective clients and protecting and operating our services).
3. Recipients
We disclose personal data only where necessary to provide and administer our services, including to Stripe for payment processing and to hosting and email service providers. We may also disclose data to professional advisers or public authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
4. Retention
We retain enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and protect against or establish legal claims; contract, billing, and payment records for the duration of the relationship and applicable statutory tax and accounting periods; and technical logs only for the operational and security periods for which they are needed. We then delete or anonymise the data unless continued retention is legally required.
5. Your Rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, or port your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, email [email protected].
6. Job Applications
When you apply for a role with us, we process the personal data contained in your application: your name and contact details, CV, covering note, certificates and references, and any other information you choose to send. Applications reach us by email at [email protected]. We do not operate an application form or an applicant-tracking system.
We process this data solely to assess your suitability for the role you applied for and to communicate with you about your application. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract — together with § 26(1) BDSG where the application concerns an employment relationship. We ask that you do not send special categories of data under Article 9 GDPR, such as information about health, religion, or trade-union membership; we do not require it and will delete it where it is not needed.
Applications are seen only by Davin Zardoshti. Application data is not disclosed to third parties beyond our email service provider, and it is not used for any purpose other than the role you applied for.
If your application is unsuccessful, we delete your data six months after we notify you of our decision, unless a longer period is required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. If you would like us to keep your details on file for future openings, tell us and we will retain them for a further twelve months on the basis of your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time. If we engage you, your data becomes part of your engagement record and is retained for the applicable statutory periods.
Providing application data is voluntary, but without it we cannot consider your application. To ask what we hold, or to have your application data deleted, email [email protected].
7. Cookies & Website Technology
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Its fonts and scripts are self-hosted, and it has no contact form. Essential hosting and security systems may process technical request data, such as IP address, browser metadata, timestamps, and requested URLs, to deliver and protect the site.
